MARS (Media and Area Studies) is a Master programme belonging to the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSV), Charles University.
The blog is about my real-life experience attending a 2-year MARS program: expectations and reality, as well as an honest review of courses.

The first thought that came to your mind when we first met could be: This girl talks a lot. However, that is not the case. I’m talkative, but not always.
To be honest, I am even proud of “talkative” as one of my strengths when it comes to networking. I find myself being more talkative with strangers or acquaintances than with people I am closer to. However, I need to correct something. Let’s discover how wrong I am about myself.
The Defining Decade: Why Your Twenties Matter-And How to Make the Most of Them Now by Dr. Meg Jay, was, more or less, the first English-language book I read and completed.
This book was suggested by Dr. Chi Nguyen (The Present Writer). For those who have not yet read this helpful book, I have included a few quotations below that I found to be highly valuable.
